Ceramic Sculptures

New pieces in from Michele Quan, just in time for fall. We have bells and sculptures in varying shapes and colors, perfect for display indoors or out. All pieces are handmade in Brooklyn, with hand painting, decorative stripes and glazes making each piece unique. These bells and jingles also make great gifts – no two bells sound identical but each sound equally beautiful. Come by the shop or check them out online.

Silver Treasures

Silver Teasures

New collection of vintage silver in at the shop from Lori’s most recent travels. My favorites are the hand-etched Taxco perfume bottles from Mexico and the expanding accordion Ball Locket, but you’ll have to come into the store to find out for yourself which pieces are calling out to you. If you’d rather you can also see some in our webstore, for more intimate views and online alone time.

Stoneware Bell Garland

Stoneware Bell Garland

Join us Wednesday, June 8th, for the opening of “Suzu,” a series of bell sculptures by Michele Quan. Known for her stoneware and porcelain garlands, Michele is creating these hanging bells as “an homage to the present through sound.” This new series is inspired by the Japanese word Suzu which refers to a small round bell that is rung to alert deities to a visitor’s presence or to bring positive power into your surroundings. Come by from 5-8 p.m. and see our shop opened up to this incredible installation.
